Having served in a variety of educational leadership and engineering roles for 16 years, Michael DeBakey has been involved in the design and implementation of enterprise technology infrastructure supporting over 10,000 staff and students across three school districts and one intermediate unit spanning three counties in Central Pennsylvania. He is intimately aware of the need for technology leaders to speak to all spheres of school operations. He has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Millersville University, a master's degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Philadelphia/Thomas Jefferson University, and has completed additional doctoral coursework at the University of Delaware in the field of educational leadership. He has presented at regional technology conferences in Pennsylvania and New York on topics of ethics, digital age leadership, network design best practices, and infrastructure security. Michael is excited to have presented annually at every TechTalkLive Conference at IU13 during its groundbreaking eleven year history.
