Tech Talk Live Sponsors: Unique as our Attendees
This year Tech Talk Live turns 5 years old. I can’t believe how fast the time has gone and how much we have grown over the past several years. Like our unique attendees, we also get a unique group of sponsors who support our conference. While there are many technology vendors out there, it takes a select group of vendors to support a conference tailored just for IT professionals in education. Some of our sponsors travel a far distance from their home offices to come and share in the Tech Talk Live experience.
What makes Tech Talk Live sponsors different?
We believe that in order for our conference to be successful we have to match the right sponsors to our audience. We are pretty picky about whom we have sponsor and exhibit, making sure they provide products or services that have significance to our specific audience. Our sponsor led sessions are informational and not sales orientated, allowing participants to get to know their products or services without feeling sold to the entire time. If you know of a sponsor that you would like for us to invite next year, just send me an email and we will be sure to add them to our list.
How can you interact with the sponsors?
Interacting with sponsors is easy.
- Stop by their booths. They are there to answer your questions, show you their products, and come up with solutions that would work best for your organization.
- Attend their sessions. Sponsor-led sessions are meant to be informative for an audience of all levels. Attend a session and feel free to ask questions and stay after a session, if you are interested in learning more information specific to your organization.
- Play the sponsor game. Every year we set up an optional game that allows participants to visit sponsor booths while getting items that allow them to enter to win a prize. It is a fun way for our participant to get to know the sponsors. This year we have added a sponsor scavenger hunt. As participants figure out the clues, they visit the sponsor booth and get a sticker. Fill up your card and enter to win 1 of 3, $100 Amazon gift cards.
Please remember to say thank you.
Last, but not least, as you sit in your session or enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner, remember to thank the sponsors. This conference would not be able to exist without them. Their generous contributions help us provide the location, keynote speakers, food, and most all keep registration cost low and affordable for every registrant. So take a minute and visit our sponsor page and get to know the sponsors a little better.
We would like to say a special thank you to our sponsors who have been with us since day one. We appreciate the support.
