Cybersecurity threats from malware or social engineering and fraud are constantly hitting our nation's education organizations. We will explore some of the notable threats and trends observed by the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center, which is the DHS designated focal point for State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial government cybersecurity. K-12 districts, Intermediate Units, and public universities all can take advantage of federally funded cybersecurity resources direct from DHS and the MS-ISAC that assist with facing or responding to these threats.
