IPv4, IPv6, MAC, duplex, media, packet, frame, routing and switching. You hear these terms every day, but would you like a deeper understanding of how these building blocks work together to pass data on the network? In this session we will dig into the first three layers of the OSI model: Physical, Data Link, and Network, and discuss in detail the interactions that take place in each layer, how they affect the overall function of the network, and how use this knowledge to troubleshoot network problems more efficiently.
